Dear Customer, Is the Xione model SCXI11BEI remote control for the Xfinity box? Please note that Xfinity's remote is an RF remote. X1 does not support RF functionality. Additionally, Xfinity's RF signal is only for communication between the remote and the box and cannot be programmed to learn commands. We recommend downloading the box's specific brand and model from the app to test compatibility. (Xfinity has a very small IR receiver, just to the right of the status light.) Normally we have to paste the head of one of our IR blasters (it is in the original package) onto the IR receiving area of this device.
I’m in the same situation as the original poster. Tried the ‘official’ 360 codebase and nothing works, power, navigation, channels. Have tried all others in the Virginmedia group with same result and even tried the ziggo which does partially work but not well enough to be used. So disappointed X2 is a flagship, Virginmedia have millions of subscribers with this box in the Uk and it is advertised as compatible, but it does not work
I also have this issue with a NOW TV stick that is just a rebranded Roku, but the strange thing is that the app works fine, even the remote works fine if I select the DEVICE, but if I switch to ACTIVITY I have ghost double clicks everywhere. Untried enabling permissive remote, reinstalling, recording a macro that sends a single command, inserting a delay, changing the simple press with a double press but nothing seems to work. As soon as I switch to activity mode on the remote it just starts sending double presses. Activity mode on the app is fine, device on the app is fine, device on remote is fine, activity on remote is NOT fine.
Thank you for your suggestion. We have revised the regional classification into the X Series and U Series.
Update: Apologies for the previous incorrect response. Settings from the X1/X1S cannot be backed up to the X2. Settings from the X2 can only be backed up to another X2.
